Biodiversity
In 2021, the company housed two bee colonies on its roof terrace for the first time. By doing so, HOYER Handel has raised awareness of the issue of biodiversity and made sustainability a tangible experience for its employees by harvesting our own honey.
Donations
In the spirit of intergenerational justice, HOYER Handel has been donating to charitable causes for the benefit of children for many years. During FY 2021/2022r, a total of EUR 21,060 was donated to the Freundeskreis Die Arche and the Mittagskinder Foundation.
To support Ukrainian children and their families, HOYER Handel also donated EUR 50,000 to the ARD and ZDF action alliance in March. To promote culture in Hamburg, the company also supports the Förderkreis Deichtorhallen with an annual donation of EUR 4,000.
