Compliance with social standards on workers’ rights in supplier companies
In order to ensure compliance with relevant social standards as well as to ensure employee rights in the supplier companies, HOYER Handel requires its business partners to comply with the principles of its Code of Conduct for Business Partners. This requirement is part of the framework agreement that HOYER Handel concludes with all suppliers. In addition, HOYER Handel, as an amfori member, conducts a social audit together with its trading partner TGI at every production facility in China. These audits must be valid throughout the whole order process. The audit comprises 13 performance areas. If a certain minimum rating is not met, the supplier will not receive orders by HOYER Handel.
